1Phase 1 — Debris Removal
- Remove all remaining construction materials (wood, drywall, cardboard)
- Pick up and dispose of nails, screws, staples and scrap metal
- Rough-sweep all floors to remove large debris
- Vacuum heavy dust accumulations from all surfaces
- Remove protective films from windows, appliances and countertops
- Remove all painter's tape and drop cloths
2Phase 2 — Ceilings, Walls and Structure
- Wipe all ceilings to remove construction dust
- Clean exposed beams, ductwork and visible plumbing
- Clean all ceiling fans (blades, motor, downrod)
- Clean all light fixtures, bulbs and shades
- Wipe all walls top to bottom — remove stains and splatters
- Scrape paint drips from windows, floors and fixtures
- Wipe all door frames, door tops and hinges
- Clean all doors (both sides) and handles
- Wipe all baseboards, trim and crown molding
- Clean all stair railings and spindles
3Windows and Glass
- Clean all windows inside and outside (streak-free)
- Remove all stickers, labels and tape residue
- Clean window tracks and vacuum debris
- Wipe window sills and ledges
- Clean window screens
- Clean all glass partitions and glass doors
- Clean mirrors in all rooms
4Kitchen and Bathrooms
- Remove dust from inside all cabinets and drawers
- Clean and polish all countertops (remove grout, cement, adhesive)
- Clean inside all new appliances (oven, fridge, dishwasher)
- Clean and polish all faucets and hardware
- Clean and disinfect all sinks and drains
- Scrub and disinfect all toilets
- Clean and disinfect all showers/tubs
- Clean grout between new tiles
- Polish all bathroom accessories (towel bars, hooks)
5Floors
- Scrape paint, grout, cement and adhesive from hard floors
- Vacuum all floors thoroughly including corners and under radiators
- Mop hard floors with material-appropriate cleaner
- Vacuum all carpeted areas twice (cross-pattern)
- Clean door thresholds and floor transitions
- Check and clean baseboard heaters and floor registers
6Ventilation and Systems
- Clean all air vents, grilles and diffusers
- Vacuum inside visible ductwork (inlets and outlets)
- Clean or replace HVAC filters
- Wipe thermostats and control panels
- Clean all electrical outlets and switch plates
- Clean electrical panel (exterior)
7Phase 3 — Final Inspection
- Room-by-room walkthrough with punch list
- Verify all surfaces are dust-free
- Confirm all windows and glass are streak-free
- Check floors for missed construction residue
- Test all lights, outlets and switches
- Test hot and cold water at every faucet
- Remove all waste, equipment and products from site
- Photograph every room as proof of cleaning
