1Kitchen
- Wash, dry and put away all dishes, utensils and cookware
- Clean and disinfect all countertops
- Clean stovetop, burners and grates
- Wipe oven exterior and handle
- Clean microwave interior and turntable
- Clean inside refrigerator — discard leftovers
- Wipe fridge exterior and handles
- Clean sink, faucet and drain
- Wipe cabinet doors and handles
- Wipe small appliances (coffee maker, toaster, kettle)
- Ensure coffee maker is clean and ready with coffee
- Restock: dish soap, sponge, trash bags
- Restock: paper towels, aluminum foil, plastic wrap
- Restock: salt, pepper, oil, basic spices
- Empty trash and recycling — replace bags
- Sweep and mop floor
2Bathrooms
- Clean and disinfect entire toilet (bowl, seat, base, tank)
- Clean and disinfect shower/tub (walls, floor, ledges)
- Clean shower glass doors (streak-free)
- Clean and disinfect sink and vanity
- Polish faucet and fixtures
- Clean mirror (streak-free)
- Display fresh towels — folded or rolled uniformly
- Place fresh bath mat
- Restock: toilet paper (2 rolls minimum + backup)
- Restock: hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash
- Restock: tissues
- Empty trash and replace bag
- Mop floor with disinfectant
3Bedrooms
- Fully strip bed — remove sheets, pillowcases and mattress protector
- Inspect mattress for stains or damage
- Install fresh sheets, pillowcases and clean mattress protector
- Make bed: duvet, decorative pillows, throw at foot
- Dust all surfaces: nightstands, dresser, lamps
- Check drawers and closet are empty — no forgotten items
- Provide empty hangers in closet (minimum 10)
- Place folded towel set on bed (if not in bathroom)
- Dust window sills and blinds
- Ensure blackout curtains close fully
- Check bedside lamp and outlets work
- Vacuum floor, under bed and inside closet
4Living Room and Dining Area
- Fluff and arrange sofa cushions and throws
- Check between and under cushions for forgotten items
- Dust all surfaces: shelves, TV stand, decor
- Wipe dining table and chairs
- Dust TV screen (dry cloth only)
- Wipe remote controls with disinfecting wipe
- Wipe light switches and door handles
- Vacuum floor and area rugs
5Entryway and Laundry
- Wipe front door, handle and lock
- Clean entry mat or replace
- Check key lockbox is working
- Start wash cycle with dirty linens and towels
- Clean dryer lint trap
- Provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets
6Final Checks and Staging
- Test all lights in every room
- Test TV and Wi-Fi — confirm password
- Set thermostat to welcome temperature
- Check smoke and CO detectors
- Place welcome guide / info card visibly
- Leave welcome gift (if applicable)
- Lock all windows
- Close blinds or curtains as needed
- Photograph each room for documentation
- Lock door and confirm lockbox is secured
